Don't get me wrong, I am very sorry that you had to read that comment about your kid. People can say that you can't take stuff on a board serious, but that is a different level. You say you have heard it before, but it doesn't make it right or make me less sympathetic. I honestly suspect that you had your part in the argument escalating, but that doesn't mean the comment was deserved. I can't imagine how that comment could ever possibly be deserved. I just point out that I see where people are coming from with the "get help" comments. Even when well-intentioned, it comes off badly.

I agree. I am not sure if Zach is referring to current times or the Skip Towne times but I joined around the same time you did and I have never received any hate at all. A few jokes but nothing anybody, even with thin skin, would have an issue with.

I point this out because you can be viewed as an extreme case since you have a lot of detailed knowledge of the sport most don't, so you can defend yourself easily. While I am comfortable in my knowledge of the game, it isn't at the same level, and I still was never bullied. You get shit on when you show up and are obsessed with proving how smart you are.

Hell, Penbook has a decent amount of qualities that would draw in heckling and I don't think he has received much at all(no offense penbook, I just mean your gung-ho attitude and positive reach for seeing what you want to see).
