Royals Someone give me an explanation? (FSKC)

Okay so I live up in northern Iowa and the last few years we were not able to receive Fox Sports KC in at anytime to watch Royals games. We also had mediacom 2 years ago but switched to DirecTV. Last year's season (had DirecTV) we got it in but only for a month into the season, I don't know if they had a free thing for all mid-west for a month type of deal or what. But this year we have been getting every game except a few (will bring that up later)... So why have we've been able to get every game this year and not the other years? Did FSKC expand their coverage? and no we did no subscribe to the channel because we are limited to only the game appearently means when we click on to watch pre-game it says "You are not subscribed" but once game time rolls around, it comes on.

and then there is this.... Some games we weren't been able to get them in. Like a couple of twins and white sox games (last night's being one of them) won't let us watch it on FSKC (some of the series' games come in though too). Is it because another program that is on my DirecTV is carrying the game so it doesn't provide it through FSKC? (FSNORTH for Twins and WGN for White Sox) or is there some other explanation...? Oh and one Red Sox game didn't come in, that one is still a mystery to me.

The games you couldn't get most likely took place during mlb's antiquated "national black out" time frames, where only certain games can be shown in your region and nationally.

I've got Mediacom, and this is the first year I've been able to get almost all of their games. The explanation for them is pretty easy, after they switched to digital, they had the bandwidth to offer a ton of new digital channels, so they threw in Royals games.

Not sure what happened with DirecTV

It's because you are in the Twins and white sox territory, so they want you to watch their local channels because they think you are closer to those cities. I have the same thing in Indianapolis where if the royals play either Chicago team or the reds I have to watch those teams broadcasts. Incidentally that one Red Sox game was on NASN(red sox local channel)for some strange reason and it wouldn't let me watch the KC broadcast either.

Is it because another program that is on my DirecTV is carrying the game so it doesn't provide it through FSKC? (FSNORTH for Twins and WGN for White Sox) or is there some other explanation...? Oh and one Red Sox game didn't come in, that one is still a mystery to me.

Walls of text usually make the reader asplode or have their eyes bleed and fall out of their sockets. A number of people can stand it, but not read them. Actually some people can stand and read them. Those people do not have short attention spans. These are boring and patient people who have no life or have all the time in their hands, which are the same, but not really. The punishment of what making walls of text varies of the strictness of the community. But it doesn't really matter. Nobody cares. Walls of texts should be free of links, different font colors, strange characters, which are those other symbols used in society, and capital letters because it ruins the whole purpose of the infamy of walls of texts. The explanation for them is pretty easy, after they switched to digital, they had the bandwidth to offer a ton of new digital channels, so they threw in Royals games.
