that was literally the best game I can remember watching since I was 13 and a huge Jordan fanboy

that collapse/comeback where I was truly rooting for Miami was just something I won't ever forget

it reminded me of a great time in my life (the MJ days)

not because LeBron played like MJ (he didn't), but because that's how emotionally invested I used to be

I hate being a bandwagon guy but I am truly rooting for LeBron to make that next leap and I have now realized he'll never be MJ...he just can't be. No one can be. No one will ever again get the ball in their hands with the game on the line and everyone in the world will know the outcome like they did back in the MJ days.

I fully agree with all of this. Whenever you saw MJ put up a shot in the 4th, it was uncanny how good he was that you were absolutely sure he would never miss. That being said, regardless of missed shots, this is the type of LeBron he has to be every single game in the playoffs. And I'm not sure why he's played so passively in the 4th until now. You wish he had a little more urgency when the series wasn't in jeopardy.

Enough about LeBron the distributor. Game 6 made it clear. Even when LeBron starts missing 4th quarter shots, the Heat feel a LOT scarier when he's attacking.

It's 100% unfair to compare Lebron to Jordan. They're completely different players.

I think you can compare Magic and Lebron when Lebron finishes his career. That one is far more fair.

Jordan isn't Lebron and Lebron isn't Jordan.

Yes, LeBron does not play anything like Michael Jordan. He never has. It makes little sense to keep expecting him to suddenly do so.

He's a completely different type of player, great in a different way, and there's really nothing wrong with that.

Lebron is such an evil, terrible human being while simultaneously being a gigantic soft, mentally-weak baby. I mean - who in their right mind kisses their mother!?!?!?!?!

Lebron is a good guy unlike Jordan.

Jordan got his dad murdered.

At the half?

surely not Michael Jordan.

most everyone kisses their mother.

Just not going into half during an nba finals game.

He is mentally weak.

its fine to be a good guy. Being a coddled baby isn't conducive to being the best ever in anything

There's actual truth to that, and it's not just being a dick. There's rumors that he asks his waiters to cut his food up for him. He is always getting upset any time somebody in the media says something remotely bad about him. Then there's the rumor that he threw the Boston series because Delonte banged his mom. It also seems that he doesn't always respond well when he puts too much pressure on himself, which usually only happens when the masses start questioning his abilities.

That's to say, I think he tries really hard to be a nice guy, but he probably does have some Mommy issues. At least he tries.

If Kobe Bryant kissed his mother right before the locker room entrance at halftime, you'd have a god damn field day.
