-- Do we owe Perkins Bakery & Cafe a little discussion?

Fine baked goods, great Denver Omeletts? Sourdough country-club sandwich?

Any of you KC folks still visit here? What do you procure at Perkins and why?

Do you only go for the free toy chest up front?

Snicker-doodle cookies? Good baked goods there (I seem to recall)

Whatcha' got?!

It was so heavy wifey couldn't lift it si I made a garage for it.

Sambos you got to be kidding they sucked ass and were here for only a heartbeat. That stupid tiger outside always trying to draw in customers. Hell in the time period you had Putches, Forum and Waids that blew Sambos away. It wasnt even worth a fart as you drove by on the way to Waids.

Was Donovan's in a strip mall (annex) across from shopping center just down Antioch? That place was not bad at all.

I can't remember but there was a place not far away on Vivion called Marcy's that was the cheapest drinks of north of the river (those days) and a good breakfast too. Old peoples bar!!!!

The whole in the wall on Vivion near Claycomo is my fav. dive breakfast!!! Nelle Belle's!!!!!!
That was Weatherbee's where Dickeys is now it was a biker bar was ok till he sold it to the dykes.

They haven't are there enough around for the thread to get any traction? I am afraid it'd be a ghost town - Golden Corral may work out.

No it would have to be a remembrance thread.

And yes not worth it.

Perkins still going strong up there huh. Are there any Shoney's or Tippin's left up there? Just out of curiosity. How about Winsteads?
