Should the Browns hire John Dorsey?

Am I the only one who thinks this is the biggest no brainer in the history of earth?

Cap space wonít matter for years, all those precious draft picks....

They suck so bad itís not like anyone in that front office or coaching staff will be around next year.

I hope he gets to run GB.

If they keep him away from contracts, heís as good as it gets.

Dorsey's best move was bringing Andy Reid in as his HC. There's no Andy Reid sitting there for the Browns to bring in.

Like it was said before, I can't imagine Dorsey wanting to go to Cleveland. Not many people would with their track record. It's quite a sad franchise, but if Glass and the Royals can turn it around, any pro franchise can get it done with the right hires.

Well then, I guess his best move was setting up and agreeing to the Alex Smith trade.

Not exactly the same thing.

David Glass was just cheap as hell. Because of that, guys were given time to make things work in KC.

The Browns refuse to give people time and that's why they will continue to suck shit. That's why I have said they need to give Hue Jackson and baseball GM guy 3 years at least, no matter what.

They will never get a good hire if they can't show patience.

I think that's very true, also. Patience isn't something you see very often in NFL ownership. Culture is a big part of it, as well and the Royals did a good job over the course of a decade of changing it. Browns have to do the same thing, and that means riding with the same crew for a while.

Shakes head. Cleveland is fine. Don't need Dorsey. It takes time. They have the youngest roster in the league. They are following the Raiders blue print almost to the letter and building from the ground up.

Whats the Raiders blueprint? Cream bad teams so the media overhypes you as division favorites but lose to good teams? Have a coach that has no idea how to adjust after scripts? Have an old washed up ineffective RB? Have a QB that needs perfect pass protection cause that 1 percent of the time he gets hit, he gets hurt because hes afraid of presssure, so when their LT allows 1 sack in 500 snaps the fanbase threatens to fight him?

That blueprint?

I have no doubt he could make them a winner in 2 years.

He'd get a ton of recognition for turning that franchise around, too.

To answer the OP, yes, it's a no-brainer. I'd make him the highest paid GM in football.
But this is the Fn Browns we are talking about.

What?

There is so much wrong with this post, I don't no where to start but why not with the first sentence.

Cleveland is not fine.

Going 1-20 isn't an indication of future success. When the Raiders started turning things around, they started winning more games.

Losing every single game is not an indication that things are turning around, and clowns said this same trash about the Jags for the past 5 seasons. They still suck.
