Do you return your shopping cart?

Last night at the grocery store I see a lady leave her shopping cart in the middle of the parking lot. The worst part about it is that there was literally 1 spot between her car and the cart corral. I was telling a guy at work this and he mentioned that he read that people who were successful in life return their carts. I looked for this article and nothing I found seems to be based on any data.

I figured that Chiefsplanet could provide some data.

Every time.

Sometimes I will grab a stray cart and take it inside when I am headed into the store.

Me too. Still haven't figured out why some doors open and some seem resistant to my powers.

Yes, I return them.

When you are good looking, doors open up themselves.

There is a special place in the worst parts of hell for the people who leave their carts in parking spots

I have fun with returning my cart.

When a decent distance from the containment coral, I let it rip as hard as I can push it and see if I can hit the other carts perfectly so my cart opens up the back of the other ones and inserts itself. It makes a sweet racket.

One time I was walking home from work, and I'd worked really late so it was 11 pm or so. I saw a shopping cart from a liquor store near my office. The liquor store is about 8 blocks east of the office, but it's right on my way, so I thought, 'Eh, what the heck.' I took it with me.

This is a pretty major street right off downtown, and its reputation isn't high end. After about a block, I realized that anybody seeing me with my backpack pushing a liquor shopping cart was undoubtedly assuming that I was homeless. But I still took it all the way back.

Yeah, when I take a cart to the corral I tend to push them all together and may even straighten a few out so they all fit together. But then again, I do tend to be a neat freak so this is really just par for the course.

Every. Damn. Time.

Unless I see a vehicle of a friend of mine in the lot, then usually I'll just push it over at theirs.
