***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

I don't know why anyone bothers to defend the Chiefs in this thread. What is the point?

Hey genius we run the ball against everyone not just Denver. To think we modified our game plan because of your mighty vondoom combo is silly. I can't remember who we played this year when we passed it like 4 times in the entire half, so Denver is nothing special to us. This team runs because we have a good run blocking line, JC, and awful at best QBs. We resorted to short passes because that is all our QBs are capable of throwing well.

Well I actually believe that this team can win the Super Bowl this year. So yeah I am a little giddy about some of the players on this team. Especially Von.
Slow down there killer, regular season Peyton and playoff Peyton are two different people. How bout you win a playoff game or two with him before you dream of SBs.

In overtime. Then they proceeded to get absolutely butt raped by NE. Peyton has always struggled against Brady and Co. Why would this time be any different.

I was just picking out what you said. You didn't say two playoff games.

Might want to reread sentence two of the post that you were quoting and this time read it slowly.

Almost won?

If we wouldn't have missed two field goals we would have beaten you by two TD's. You guys were never in the game. Even when you had a 6-0 lead I never thought Denver was in any trouble whatsoever.

If you had a real QB you would have played right into our hands. We want you to pass the ball. Maybe if you had a real QB we would have played with some urgency instead of going through the motions.

We were up 20-6 at halftime against Pitt in the playoffs. That game never should have went to OT.

Miller is the most devastating pass rusher at any position in the NFL. There is no one on offense who can consistently match up to him; offensive linemen are not quick enough to counter his acceleration. The 49ers' brilliant outside 'backer, Aldon Smith, has 43 quarterback disruptions this year on 292 pass rushes. Miller has 61 on 297, 41 percent more on nearly the same number of attempts. Watt's base numbers are excellent too (49 quarterback disruptions from 402 rushes). They come a close second in productivity terms to the Bengals' Geno Atkins, who has 40 QB disruptions on 300 pass rush snaps. EDGE: Miller

In Summary: Many players on defense are having great years, but no one is as far ahead of the competition as J.J. Watt and Von Miller. Just as Darrelle Revis did in the early part of 2011, they are redefining what's achievable at their positions. Who's better? Flip a coin. Good thing there are five games left for each, so one can win the award they both now deserve.

That's just silly. If you know anything about the history of the teams in this divisions... records don't typically tell how the games will go. The thing I didn't like from the game is the fact that many will now fall in love with Moreno again and then he'll show you his true colors - he's a failure.

This is why Denver needs to go from the 4th seed to the 2nd seed... play as much as possible in Denver, avoid trips to NE if at all possible.

I didn't see the same type of energy defensively that I'm used to seeing from Denver. I think we expected KC to just give the game away on offense with stupid TO's.

Moreno has talent. He runs hard and plays with a lot of passion. He wasn't the player that we all wanted but he can make plays if given an opportunity.

Adding Jacob Hester rather than Steve Slaton: a vote of confidence in Moreno's every-down ability. Hester likely to help in short ydg. only.
