Alden doesn't want Kansas or Vandy attendance, so he's rolling back prices.

Mizzou is top 25 in attendance. Nice that you don't always have to pay $50 just to get in the stadium every game, though. I don't think you're going to see us break any records for lack of attendance on our homecoming. In fact, we're adding seats. Imagine that.

Now I remember why I put him on ignore. 1996? 17 year old attendance smack?

I think it's great that they're dropping prices on GA tickets at Mizzou. $50 to sit on the grass or stand at the rail is pretty steep. I'd rather see them charge a little more for the seats and keep those ticket prices low so they're affordable for fans on tight budgets.

Both Kansas and Mizzou get mentioned in this article. They're pretty high on Mizzou. As for the ink devoted to Kansas...well...there's no such thing as bad publicity, right?

Vanderbilt's stadium was at around 95 percent capacity (38k of 40k). Even if you buy ku's updated attendance figures of 36k, it was at around 72 percent capacity.

That's a rather sizable difference, yes?

Also, not like Missouri fans didn't travel well. Mizzou sold out its allotment of 3500 tickets, and I have seen estimates that around 8000 Mizzou fans were there. In perusing a few Vandy message boards during and after the game, I saw comments comparing Mizzou's takeover to that of other schools in the SEC (Tennesee and Georgia were the ones I saw mentioned).

Hell, if you just watched the game you could tell there were a lot of Mizzou fans there by how loud it was when Vandy was on offense.

At first I thought those sure were some dumb smart football fans, until I realized it was the large Mizzou contingent making all that noise.

Yeah the MIZ-ZOU chant was pretty obvious during parts of the game, also on 810 Chiefs GM John Dorsey said he was at the game and heard a good portion of the crowd yell Chiefs during the end of the national anthem.

Our last home conference game, against Kentucky last year, was attended by over 67,000. (Who were treated to a conference win, by the way - remember those?)

Wow. So really, only 28k Vandy fans vs 35k at Kansas. I guess it's time to start focusing on the terrible fans at your fellow SEC school rather than at your old master's quarters.
