same ole same ole.... I'm getting tired of moral victories. It's amazing that you can be so close so many times and yet fail every single time when you get an opportunity to close it out. They played well, but in the end its just another loss.

Sickening loss there. Not going to pretend I was pulling for you, but I do feel your pain. I don't know what your record is going to be next year, but I know that nobody is going to want to play you. If they win, nobody will give them credit because "it's just Kansas", but you're going to beat some teams.

I was at my son's basketball game, hanging with a buddy who played for KU back in the late 90's. Wives were watching the kids play, he and I were focused on our phones. Dang it... good game Jayhawks. Almost pulled off a miracle.

I was running errands today and had to watch dvr delayed. Actually that's pretty common for me lately. I didn't want to look at this thread for that reason. But I watched the game from start to finish.

I know moral victories still suck but this team has made great strides. It's very difficult to win when you don't trust your passing game. If Heaps is any good, next year should be fun.

Had a conversation with someone high up in KU's Athletic Department. Te close losses are frustrating, but he drew a lot of comparisons between KU today and what it was like at KSU in 1989. There is hope, and he was positive that this is Bill Snyder's last rodeo.

Bill Snyder started coaching at KSU over 2 decades ago. Do you expect Weis to coach at Kansas beyond his current contract?

Hopefully you guys don't carry that streak of 18 or however many straight conference losses in the big 12 into next season. There is still a chance to snap the streak this season if you can tame the cyclones or they mighty Geno Smith

He said he would coach as long as it took to get KU on the right track (winning seasons and playing in bowl games). He actually like it in Lawrence, I wouldn't be surprised to see him extend his contract at least once if things go well.
