In a blatant, blatant ripoff of Beer Me's interesting thread with the converse (or is it inverse?) title, what are things that you have done that very few others have done. For the purposes of this discussion, assume that an act is eligible if fewer than 1 percent of the American population has done the same thing. (And yes, more than 1 percent of the population has done it with your wife.)


I'll start. I have....


....ridden an elephant.
....ridden a camel (albeit shortly).
....seen a bear in the wild.
....scored in the top 1 percent on the PSAT, SAT, and ACT.
....gone to Madagascar.
....been on a magazine cover.
....married a coworker.
....held a top-secret clearance.

I believe the experiences on my list aren't shared by many though.

I have:
...performed for a crowd of 1,000 people
...been present for the Presidential Inauguration
...won a National contest
...shot a professional music video
...been to more than half of the 50 states
...been on tour
...sold records overseas
...won a Pitch Music Award
...promoted/marketed a nationally touring musical for a major theatre group
...opened for a national recording artist
...taught an elective college course
...performed for a live television program in Kansas City
...played the VooDoo Lounge (twice)
...recorded an album (thrice)
...been featured on Lawrence Channel 6's "The Turnpike"
...been featured on KCUR's (local NPR) "KC Currents"
...had songs in rotation on FM Radio
...co-hosted a program for a community radio station
...taught a workshop for the Kauffman Foundation
...organized a daylong community festival
