Life I lost my mom today - Page 7

I haven't posted much in a while, but I always considered this place a great spot to vent, get things off my chest that I couldn't take to social media.

The day I never wanted to come came today for me. My Mom passed away this morning after a few month struggle with various ailments.

She was far too young, 60, for this, but if you're the praying/good thoughts, I'd appreciate some for my mom.

It was sudden and I expected her to pull through. We are all pretty crushed - my kids, who were the lights of her life, especially.

My condolences.

My parents are 77 and 71, and in good health (knock on wood), but that clock is ticking and I dread the day I lose one. I was a mess when I had to put my dog down more than a decade ago. I can't imagine losing a parent (or God forbid, one of my children).

So, sorry to hear BG. I've been through it and it's not easy. I've always tried to act as they would have wanted me to when the time came.

Very sorry for your loss, prayers to you and your family. She was way too young but obviously led a good life and you will always have your memories with her. Hang in there.

It's been about 2 and a half months since, but the void really hasn't gotten any easier.

Sorry I didn't see this until now Bad Guy. I was in a rehab facility at the time, 60 is young, my wife was 60 in April when I lost her.

I hope and pray that time heals all the lives of her family tree.

So sorry to hear. Lost both of my parents when my sons were very young, so it didn't have such a huge impact on them as grand kids. It must be very tough on your whole family.

Yesterday was the 20th anniversary of my moms death. She died on 10/10/1998. Still think about and miss her every day. Love ya mom.
