Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

I have the USP Compact .45 and I love it. Glock gets all of the love, but H&K is every bit as durable and dependable. Unless it just does not fit your hand, you will not be disappointed.

I have a usp, and the hk tactical. Both in .45. Both shoot great. Probably my favorite guns to shoot that I own other than my .22 rifle lol.

I bought a Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec last Tuesday. It's in 10 day gun jail right now. California blows when it comes to buying firearms.

Sing it with me! "I wish gun laws weren't written by California girls (California girls!) I wish their gun laws weren't written by California girls (California girls!) It's like moocows blaming steak knives when they get turned into steak. If you like guns, in Califory-ya you just can't catch a break. I've been all around this big old country, traveled without pause. I can damsure wait to go back to the state with the goofiest dumb gun laws. (refrain)

Good choice. I've had a Mil Spec for a couple years.

And f*** the 10 day waiting period!

The State was sued to end the 10 day wait for those who already own firearms. Kind of silly to have a waiting period for folks who are current owners. The suit was successful but the Witch Kamala Harris is fighting it and dragging her feet to implement the changes.

So hopefully one day in the near future I will be able to walk in and out with a new firearm of my choice.

I really like H&K. I used to carry a p7m13 on duty in Texas. And just bought an earlier addition of it today. The differences are in the May release and the capacity, but both have the floating barrel, the squeeze cock charging mechanics and the untraditional forged "twisted" barrel instead of normal rifling.

One just like it is on a gun site with a current bid of 1100, I got this beaut waaaaaay cheaper. Only put a few rounds through it but very excited. It very well may become my new off duty/concealed carry.
