I trust Andy Reid with quarterbacks. he will fix the situation. if he goes and gets a retread like Alex Smith or Josh Freeman, instead of taking a quarterback at number 1 overall, then that's because he thinks that quarterback will fit his system better than anyone in this shitty draft. I will trust his assessment, no matter the decision, because I am fully on The Andy Reid bandwagon. He's got this.

Where are all the people who said Freeman was awesome? I seem to remember a significant amount of arguing as to whether or not Team Killer was to blame for trading for Cassel and not drafting Freeman.

BTW - why the hell would anyone trade for Freeman? I mean, if the Chiefs want him, just wait and sign him as a free agent. Tampa already announced they wouldn't re sign him. Stupid.

There will, of course, be a great amount of wailing and gnashing of toophers, but I have no doubt that Reid will make the best possible decision on the quarterback position given our particular situation.

You're right - they do. But I think the exact same reason they haven't resigned him is why you don't trade for him. Guy simply has not put it all together on the field.

He's young and has only been in the league for 4 years, but still...no way.

On the QB factor, I think it is safe to say that just about any QB that is not on our current roster will be an improvment.

if he is UFA then he holds the cards so he may want to go elsewhere. Just saying that it wouldn't surprise me to see us go after him
