The number of yards LJ puts up the rest of the season isn't the issue with me. He could put up 1000 yards in the next 7 games and at the end of the season I may be hoping for a trade. He could put up 250 yards the rest of the season and I could say at the end of the season that I want him to stay.
The key to me is whether or not he's changed. I'm tired of his "me-only" attitude and his childish antics. If he comes in, runs of 1,000 yards and is strutting around sounding like Leon from the comercials telling everyone look what he did or it's not his fault we lossed 'cause he didn't get the ball, blocking or whatever; if he's still hitting night clubs and pulling more stupid crap like spitting in women's faces, I'll be wanting to see him gone. At the same time, if he comes and doesn't put up a lot of numbers but has an attitude more like that Priest Holmes had about being willing to do whatever he can to help the team win - even if that is being on the sidelines encouraging someone like Jamaal Charles while he runs the ball, and he starts acting more mature off the field, I'd be glad to welcome him back.

Oh, and let me add to my last post....
If, having LJ back means we're going to go back to run, run, deep pass 1 yard short of the 1st down, punt; if it means we're going back to running the ball 50 times a game for <1 yard per carry while chunking the passing game out the window, then no, I don't want LJ back no matter his attitude or production.

I think regardless we need to try and trade him during the offseason/draft time as well...
I think if we can't get rid of him then i dont know wtf to do...i hope he does well though while he's in uniform and behaves. |

It's not just the fact that he obviously has no respect for women. When he starts missing team meetings and showing up late at the airport, he's creating poor chemistry with the team. He deserves no special attention or privileges that other teammates don't get.
You can't respect others when you don't respect yourself...
