Here's a head start on the thread of the most grueling test of golf in the world. Winged Foot is a beast, it could be like watching thrown amongst a pack of coyotes and pent-up Kansas wheat farmers.

One more thought--If I ever build a golf course, I think I should name it Clubbed Foot.

It was difficult seeing Mickelson struggle on 18. I'm glad I had Jose Cuervo and shots of Evan Williams to help me get through it.

Seriously, Geoff Ogilvy will be one of the best sports stories of the year, especially in golf.

The Open is always finding the most unlikely winner. Ogilvy...wtf has this guy won besides this tournament? Much like Campbell last year, the winners are almost afterthoughts.

I actually found myself kind of rooting for Monty since I knew Phil was poising to take a giant crap on 18.

I'm not old enough to remember Norman's nightmares, so what happened to Phil yesterday was a shock. I guess it was a matter of time before something like this happened again.
