Not really. I feel bad for him though because he seems like he's the super fast type who can get open easily given the time, but our OL sucks.

. That was one of the first guys I really watched play in college and thought he could be productive as a #2 or #3 stretching the seam.

Oh, now I remember - It is no secret that Alex Smith has trouble throwing downfield. When the Giants played 49ers a few weeks ago, they were running the wildcat - The OF would bench Smith on long plays - I remember another player (Kaepernick) was splitting time with Smith in the backfield.

The 49ers run a Pistol Formation... The Giants defense figured it out early and shut their offense down.

However, Harbaugh made Smith serviceable last year - my opinion - When the Giants played them in the playoffs - They did not run any gimmick plays.

Giant vs. 49ers

Alex Smith 19/30 200 yds 3 INT
Colin Kaepernick 4/7 82 yards 0 TD

Holy hell, Aldon Smith!

Von Miller moves to the top of the sack list only to be stripped of the title the very next day

Sorry, KnowMo.

Aldon Smith might break DT's record tonight. Only 3 to go and the 2nd half just started.
