It could be worse, be from central Ohio where you are surrounded by either Bengals, Browns or Steeler fans...

When i was a kid, my great grandfather died in Pennsylvania. My dad went to the funeral and called one night on the drive over from Leavenworth. When i asked him where he was, he said, "indiana." I wondered aloud if people there look like Ghandi.
I actually lived in Terre Haute several years later.

I can't imagine being surrounded by all the Buckeye fans, either (and I apologize if you are an OSU fan...wait, no I don't ). It's bad enough living here in Purdue country. I laugh when the Boilermakers get pounded by their Big 10 rivals. |

Nothing is worse than the 4 years I spent at school in TN. between 95-99 they didn't really play local Titan games... It was Madden & The deadest Announcer of all time Pat Summerall.
Every week it was GB or Cowboy games. It was so bad, I missed the Chiefs Broncos playoff game that we lost 14-10 because the dorms wasn't open. We've discussed this before. I've did my stint in Indiana which wasn't too bad because the Colts aren't a bad team to watch and they're sorta local (They played the Saints at the Purdue stadium in preseason and I went there.) Also, the Purdue games was something to do. So if you think you've got it bad... You could always be in Jackson TN with no team within 2 hours and watch Cowboys & Packer games every weekend with Madden & the feeble Summeral. Glad to be HOME! |

The Colts aren't a bad team to watch, no...but I just hate how smug Colts fans tend to be. They are the worst fair weather fans I know...they could be on a ten game winning streak, lose a game, and the entire state will put away their Blue and White and assume the season is over.
The other thing I hate about it is that they all assume everyone else is a Colts fan. "Did you see that game last week? Manning looked great, didn't he. Think their going all the way this year?" I DON'T CARE!!! |
