I'm torn on this one. While saying something like this is appalling and never would cross my mind, especially over something as trivial as an NFL football game, she has every right to say it. Just like everyone else has the right to react to it.

IMHO, she's getting what she deserves. When you post something that inflammatory, you are looking for a reaction. Unfortunately for her, the reaction was not the one she thought she was going to get. If you don't want to get called out what you say, do not post it in a public forum.

Personally, I don't feel bad for her. Maybe this will teach her an important life lesson about doing something before you think about the consequences.

I wonder if John's Hopkins has a CoC that forbids stupidity like this. Something that says you can't do anything that brings bad light to John's Hopkins. Conduct detrimental to the hospital and all that.
