It makes some noise in the media for Ryan and the Jets, but will have little impact on the football field.
Reed is an absolute husk of his former self.

It could have a potentially HUGE impact because the dude has flat out sucked since finally getting on the field. He's a liability.

Reed looks like an Old Danny Glover in the Color Purple

Yeah, I probably should have worded that better. Its not going to improve the Jets defense, and certainly not be the catalyst that gets the Jets into the playoffs.

I read somewhere (maybe here) that one of the sites like PFF had him worst in the league in pass coverage. If anything, he could be a catalyst that keeps them out of the playoffs.

For a guy who's done he sure does generate a lot of threads around here...
Anyway. It's going to be tough to come in with new defensive teammates and freelance like Reed did in Baltimore. But I think Ryan will try to work a defense around him doing just that at least occasionally to see if he can get a pick or two (and a headline or two), otherwise why even bring him in? |

I've thought for the last month that Geno vs. Alex in 1st round is very possible.

He's the only safety in the league that has had 100% of the passes thrown his way completed on him. Not even Kendrick ****ing Lewis is that bad, and he's been terrible this year.
