Herolympics - Round 2, Matchup 2
Round two seeding.
In our second matchup, Rooster Cogburn is going to die. This is just unfair. Look at Rooster. He's all "WTF?" Even so, we'll give John Wayne a good send off. Last edited by Hammock Parties; 06-09-2010 at 02:38 PM.. |

I think the only Batman Rooster could defeat would be Adam West, and it would still be tough.

How the hell did we end up with this matchup? That is like a number 1 seed that gets the winner of the play in game.

That's kind of what it is. The person with the highest percent of votes in Round 1 takes on the person with the 32nd-highest, 2nd takes on 31st, etc. It minimizes the odds of the two strongest contenders facing each other early in the tournament.

We might as well declare Superman the winner than because he could beat anybody on this list. Or everyone could bring kryptonite to the party and Superman would die in the 1st round.

I was pretty sure this wasn't a "who could beat up who" action hero deal, I thought it was a popularity contest, like with smells.

I'd hate for Bourne and Batman to meet randomly in round 1 while random seedings also somehow create a second round match that includes the winner of a random Rooster Cogburn v. Foghorn Leghorn battle in the first round. I think we'll see a few upsets this round anyway (particularly when we move away form 1 v 8 seedings)--and not many easy battles in the second round because of this system... |
