Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

They went from 4 losses in a row, including 38-13 to the Rams a week before playing the Chiefs, to losing to two division leaders by a combined 4 points with a rookie QB making his first two starts... yeah, I'd take that kind of potential and his ability to stretch the field in a heartbeat (well, at least his willingness to stretch the field... of course, Andre Johnson has a lot to do with that, too).

He's also top 8 in passing attempts this season, but tied for 21st in TD passes. Most of the guys he's thrown more TD's than haven't started or played in 9 games.
Too bad we've lost all those games!!

Since some are dissatisfied with AS11's play who do you think they should start at QB after the bye.
