He's replacing Ponson in the starting lineup and he's replacing Soria on the roster.

When I first started watching Royals games on TV, back around 88-90, there were some bad ass A's teams. Was it '89 when we has the A's/Giants world series staring the SF earthquake?

Ok guys...this will be a test for our offense as Oakland has one of the best ERA's in the league. We need to wake up and score and tell the division and the league we are for real and this is OUR division.

I went to my first Royals game in 1977. Fortunately I got to see some of the best Royals teams ever. I miss the rivalry between us and the Yankees in the playoffs. I also unfortunately watched Minnesota turn a triple play against the Royals in a come from behind win. That was the only time I have ever seen a triple play. Some ups and downs but it was nice to go out to the ballpark back then and actually expect us to win.

I still think they should swap DDJ and AC in the lineup. But with the way Buck and Avilles are hitting I guess we need a good bat down in that part of the order.

Nice hit Coco.....come on DDJ...time to get out of the slump.

Though Coco should steal against this sinker-ball pitcher

Way to move the runner DeJesus.....sheesh this guy is stinking it up.....put the bunt down next time or something...do something productive.

And swinging at the first strike. That is why he doesn't belong in the leadoff spot.
