Do the events of this weekend save Pioli's and Crennel's jobs?

Obviously lots of emotion today....Emotion probably won the game IMO.

Does that change anything in Clarks mind? The classy way that Pioli and Crennel have handled the past few days. I fear its going to cloud his judgement when the tough decisions need to be made in a few weeks.

Thoughts?

As soon as we beat Green Bay it was obvious we were screwed.

Dude, I came back here during that time after Haley was fired, I had been gone all season.

I was foaming-at-the-mouth mad about the thought of Romeo getting hired, so I remember clearly - there weren't very many people that disagreed with me, at all.

There was an "avoid KC" consensus.

If a similar consensus comes to be held that it'd be heartless or low-class to hand out pink slips a month after what happened in that parking lot with Belcher, then where the team's reputation is concerned, firing Pioli won't be the slate-cleaning reset button we want it to be. And I'm not saying there is such a sentiment. But if.

And there's never a good time to come off looking callous or low-class, but it would be especially bad timing now when there are going to be a bunch of teams looking for new coaches and front offices. Our search for a new GM could end up like our pursuit of Manning. And who do we end up with then? Who's the Brady Quinn of GM candidates?
Dude, if the media and fans in midwestern Kansas City think it's cold and/or classless, what do you think the East Coast media is going to think?

Firing these guys now is going to be viewed as inhumane.
