Game recomendations
for the PC
i usually like RPG/Adventure type games .... a little strategy thrown in is a bonus. games that i've played in the past and liked: titan Quest Diablo II Baldur's gate series spellforce 2 Sacrifice Rise of Nation Halo Unreal tourney Might and Magic V company of heroes Battle for Middle Earth Civ II Impossible Creatures Games that i've play in the past but were "so-so" Oblivion (too redundant) NWN 2 (buggy POS) KOTOR (not enough character variation to play more than once) Jade Empire (not enough character variation to play more than once) Civ III (system became so "embedded" after II that didn't like it as much) Medievel II (bugs) Thief (sneaking around in pitch black was just too stressfull ) any suggestions? |

C&C 3?
Stay away from civ 4. You could go with the Icewind Dale series since you like Baldur's Gate. |

Icewind Dale is the same universe as Baldur's Gate, and I think the engines are the same. |

Laz,
I have had a lot of fun with the Half-Life and Call of Duty games. Other than that, I've heard that BioShock is getting great reviews. Happy New Year. By the way, your comments on Thief cracked me up. I couldn't help but squint all the time and the groans from the ghouls (or whatever they were) drove me crazy. |

hehe ... I think Thief is the only game i've played that REALLY had a stress factor. You had to play with the sound way up and "squint" at the dark screen all the time. Jumping at every shadow and sound games = fun ....... not stress

I'm having a hell of a lot of fun with the "Total War" series. It's a little old, but fantastic.
