A quick Saturday night thread since I'm stuck at home for the night.

What is your favorite moment here on ChiefsPlanet that might not have stuck in other people's minds. Could be a funny post, could be a funny thread, maybe a fight that no one references anymore....anything that stayed with you for some reason anything done you think others might not recall.

Mine would be during Hootie's original roasting thread back around 2013, rico was threatening to write a roast over and over. He kept promising it and talking about it day after day for about a week. Finally someone (I forget who) who was tired of him going on and on about it posted a GIF of a toddler continuously going through the beginning motions of attempting to punt a football. Small moment for sure, but I and a few others had a great laugh over that GIF. I know I didn't describe the GIF very well, so if someone has it and wants to post it, I thank you in advance.

Anyways, anybody else got any great overlooked moments on CP?

The whole Midnight Vulture thing was kind of fun. It's the most effort I've ever taken to track down someone's actual identity. In a way, I kind of feel bad about it, but the end justifies the means in this situation, I think.

I THINK so. More than that, he kept posting pictures of "himself" that were actually pictures of some random male model dude from the internet. I eventually tracked down his actual identity, and then (I can't remember how) but the actual model dude showed up for a while.

It was a LONG ordeal - probably took 6-12 months or more to develop - which is why it was so satisfying when we finally outed the dude as a fraud.

I can't 100% recall if the stolen laptop thing was that dude or someone else.

Looking at the .gif now makes me think I was remembering it wrong. Was it posted after Rico finally posted his first roast and it was a dud? Because that would make the .gif even more perfect.

I believe I remember Rico's first roast being a pretty long rambling mess, although he did get better with more roasts.
