PFF Broke down the Chiefs on radio today

Can't remember if it was 610 or 810 but they had a guy from PFF breaking down the Chiefs and their ails.

One point of note this guy mentioned was the soft defense. He was talking about how WR screens kill us because unlike other teams where the CB will see that and run up to bust it up, our CB's sit back 10 yard and watch it develop.

He pretty much went on to say there is nothing at all that says we win the game this week against NO so you should probably bet on the Chiefs..lol

The Saints could probably just run WR screens all day and win.

The Falcons did it to us early, then did it later. 1 touchdown and one other pass that was almost a touchdown.

The Bills saw it on tape, tried it, it worked.

That is some piss poor coaching.

Hoge / Jaws pointed this out on ESPN too. The other problem is that when we go man, Matt Ryan continually audibled to a screen play so receivers can set picks to open up a guy for a wide open look. And they pretty much clinically ran the play successfully every time.

Here's the link if petegz wants to put it in the OP for everyone else.

I listened live today briefly. He stressed how we get currently get gashed in the run game in our nickel package because Dorsey, TJack, and Belcher come off the field. Thinks Sproles and Thomas will kill us because we'll be running that package the entire game.

He's right, IMO.

That is one of the intrinsic joys of the "let the plays develop" defensive strategy.

Stop being negative, I'm really looking forward to this Dexter McCluster/Darren Sproles matchup.

Two very similar players.

Just really explosive playmakers.
