RB or QB?

Some stats in another thread showed that QBs have the biggest average point difference between each top 15 player - the top QB scored 8 more points per game than 2nd, who scored 8 more than 3rd, etc.

RBs were around 7, WRs were about 3.5.

Along with that, QBs are much less injury prone than RBs, and usually make up the majority of the top 10 scorers over the season.

So...why is everyone on earth convinced that you HAVE to take a RB #1?

Meh. I always get roasted and told my team sucks.

But last year people kept saying "your RBs suck!!". They were Trent Richardson, Doug Martin, Alfred Morris, Ben Tate, some others I cant remember.

Will post when I get home tonight.

Feel I need my justifications in there as well

QB: Cam Newton (great under the new OC)
RB: Trent Richardson
RB: LeSean McCoy
WR: Larry Fitzgerald (undervalued because of 2 years of shit QBs)
WR: Pierre Garcon (#1 if he played a full year last year)
TE: Kyle Rudolph (Ponder's favorite target)
FLEX: Giovani Bernard (gonna be a beast, top 10 pick next year)
DEF: Rams (my buddy in STL swore they are gonna be great)
K: Greg Zuerlein

BN: TY Hilton (rising star)
BN: Chris Givens (sleeper)
BN: Fred Jackson
BN: Ben Rapelisberger (no running game and deteriorating defense, recipe for tons of throws)
BN: Jermichael Finley
BN: Ryan Broyles (#2 on powerful offense)
IR: Percy Harvin

Flame away.

It's not a bad roster, not sure I agree cam does better this year but I do agree Fitzgerald will. Richardson and McCoy are very solid. Surprised you got both, to be honest. I think if I took One with my first and the other is there on the way back I'd take him.

I think you've got a pretty good team there. There are a lot of question marks, how will McCoy do in the new offense, will Fitzgerald come back to life with Carson Palmer, will Giovani Bernard take over in Cincinatti, and does your buddy know what he's talking about, for example. But I like the up side on each of those bets. Good luck.
