Planetside 2 - (PC) Free to Play MASSIVE Multiplayer Shooter - Beginners Guide

Repost Police suck my dick

Planetside is a REALLY addictive first person shooter..... on PC only right now MAYBE coming to SOny Playstaion eventually...

The battles are massive.....hundreds of people on the same battlefield. Combined arms, infantry, tanks, air, transport/supply vehicles.

Check this game out...lots of roles , not just grunt/infantry....You can really play engineers or medic or troop transport etc...squad leader.....pilot....gunner...bomber.....etc etc....

If you play on server "connery" as the NC (new conglomerate) I would be glad to squad up with you and show you a little of what I know. Its kind of a steep learning curve.....but it is REALLY fun once you learn to move around and find the "front lines" of the war and get into a squad....

1) https://www.planetside2.com/

2) make a character on server Connery , New conglomerate (blue team)

3) check it out a little bit , go to the "VR" virtual reality center and try out all weapons and vehicles

4) try 'instant action' and try joining a few different squads

5) post any questions or PM me if you wanna **** around and kill some shit

*If you hate the NC for some reason, I do have characters in the other factions (vanu & Terran) so I can hook up with you in those as well, theyre just not as advanced...I prefer NC but can play any of them as long as its Connery server.

Check it out FREE!

Guides & Tips
-----------------------

1) How to find a good battle (planetside is a big BIG world)

3570 over 2500 all day, if you want to spend extra. Board is fine, I am guessing you wont be doing OCing, so yea, its fine.

The 3570 is actually cheaper. I probably won't be overclocking no.

So to review:

CPU: Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz Socket LGA 1155 Boxed Processor
Motherboard: P8Z77-V PRO LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel Motherboard - Refurbished
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 DirectCU II Overclocked 2048MB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 xx16 Video Card

Anything else I would need to get? Any suggestions on improvements for minimal cost?

well, RAM is cheap.. you should upgrade it since you are doing everything else.

Also, if you can find a refurb 500 mb/sec-ish SSD for cheap you wont regret it.

make sure your power supply can handle the new graphics card as well.

That's good but you can save a lot of $$$ on the vidcard. I noticed the Micro Center in houston has this card

http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...spx?sku=198770

for 134.99 or 115.96 for an open box version. You really can't go wrong with the 7770 especially since it's an Asus(best in the biz). I run my 7770 on max settings with no hiccups.

Although the 7770 does appear to have about half the specs as well.

It is not as fast as the Nvidia card, then again I have zero slowdown with that card. I have both Nvidia and ATI cards so i'm not some fanboy, just saying for the price and speed you can't beat it.

That 760 is more modern, more bang for the buck, more future proof, and quite literally over twice as powerful.

Also, yes to that SSD. Say hello to sub ten second startups, instant loading screens etc.
