Well the gouging the hotels do and the price of gas, with an economy coming out of a recession sure isn't helping. Im truthfully just tired of the all the commercials.

according to reports, it has to do with the track's reconfiguration back in the late 2000's. they complain the track is not that aggressive anymore.

also, what danny said above: the economy and 'gouging the hotels do and the price of gas.'

I remember reading an article that a lot of fans didn't like the change and refused to go out there. I actually thought it was martinsville track but i get those two tracks mixed up.

I was never a big fan of his, but I think the "Bristol is the greatest thing ever" perception coincided with the career of Dale Earnhardt. You just tuned in to see what he was going to do, good or bad.
