Movies

Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

I just watched the movie Punisher: War Zone. I'll be honest. At the box office it did terrible. So i wasn't expecting much.

But i was really surprised. The movie had action through out it. The Punisher had many kills, a lot, but it was all cool. And the movie was shot in very deep colors, especially yellows and blues. Very entertaining for an action movie.

I like this Marvel charactor because he doesn't have superhuman abilities.

Except a vengeance for the bad people and his skills as a killer.

I would give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Relative to the Thomas Jame movie?

I liked that movie, but some others didn't.

I don't pretend to be some sort of movie critic. I liked Jane's Punisher for the mad passionate violence.

Yeah I enjoyed it as well. I wouldn't go as far as calling it a good movie but it was pretty damn entertaining. The combination of way over the top violence, minimal plot and bad guys chewing scenery at excessive levels just seemed to work for some reason.

I like the Tomas Jane movie also. It had more of a story to it actually.
This Punisher:Warzone left his personality at the door pretty much on this movie.

Like Miles said it isn't a great movie but good entertainment value.

The punisher is supposed to be a cold, murdering bastard, not a guy who befriends the kooky teenagers next door. PWZ has to be better than the Jane version.

Those guy neighbors were f_ags.

But that lady was hot! She was practically pleading with him to do it with her

I was pissed because he never f**ked her.

Saw "I love you man" this week. It was awesome. Everybody should support a fellow Chiefs fan (Rudd) and go see this movie.

Just finished watching "Tell No One". Exceptional French mystery thriller that was very well acted and had a bit of a Hitchcock feel. Easily among the best in the genre in a while. Highly recommend this one.

As an aside, the actor playing the main character looks a hell of a lot like a younger Dustin Hoffman.
