Chiefs Bruce Arians is off to a rocky, rocky start

I know, I know. I've said a lot about this. But I swear, there's new information in here that hasn't been brought up on CP. Be glad the Chiefs didn't hire him. I give him 2-3 years tops before he's on the hot seat.

Here's what we're learning:

Like ***** and Carl Peterson, he hires his croney friends. "There will be a common thread in this coaching staff," he said. "They will have either played for me, coached for me, some as far back as 30 years." Uh oh.
He demanded that Todd Bowles be his guy. The guy is going to be a disaster of a DC. Uh oh.
Remember that shitty 2-gap scheme that's outdated and ineffective? Guess who's spent almost his entire career coaching it? That's right. Todd Bowles. More than likely, he's replacing a perfectly good scheme for a shitty one.

Arians wants to coach and call plays, and he hired a ridiculous inexperienced yes-man to be his OC. Isn't it clear this is a lousy model?
