Finally found a class i liked.

Barrett with an ACOG sight. That bitch is nice. You can pick of people 1 shot from across the map, blast em when they're close, and it has a huge clip and fires super fast.

With assassin etc.. you won't be seen. I've laid down and had people run right over the top of me.

Nice. I was really hoping MW3 had the WA2000 - I went all beast mode with that gun. Alas, I have to settle for the Barrett, which isn't a terrible alternative. All of my friends were enamored with the Intervention, for some reason. I thought it sucked.

Anyway, glad you found your class! I'm still partial to the SCAR - always have been, and probably always will be. Have it maxed out already

I will regretfully have to pick a shotty and level that bitch til i get range. I think that's the only way a shotty will be of any use. But it will be a ****ing nightmare getting it that far.

Rehashing some reviews I'm sure, but oh well.

Played the first time last night and while I haven't played since MW2, this feels pretty much the same. The maps don't look that small (thanks Mr. Plow for the link), but they sure feel and play small. Not sure I hit them all though. Only tried Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed so far. Kill Confirmed is a pretty awesome concept and pretty fun.

Graphically speaking the scenery looks good and the guns look good until someone uses one of those stupid colorful camo skins, but what's up with the people? The guys on the African Resistance or whatever its called are hilarious looking! Others not so much, but these brothers are pitiful looking, they look like a fat albert character carrying a sub machine gun. I know it's not about that, but it's still funny!!

Run and gun seems to be the MO of most...there are definitely campers, but you can't really squat anywhere too long..at least I couldn't if I tried. They've made the n00b tube pretty pointless for the most part which seems to please most. There's also soo much stuff on the maps that grenades aren't as affective IMO either. Spawning it jacked up sometimes, you literally get dropped in someones lap sometimes. You can spawn really fast though. I have no idea what I'm doing with the kill streak stuff, so I can't speak much to that yet. Love the SCAR though...best gun so far IMO.

Over all still fun, but those trying to make comparisons to BF are simply comparing apples to oranges....they aren't that similar at all.

The barrett with the acog isn't all that hard to use. You just can't run and gun with it. Get to where you want to go, post up, take out a couple, and GTFO of there and go to a side where they are spawning, post up, and take them out. You can 1 shot them over and over and it reloads so fast. Easier than it sounds if you can avoid face to face confrontations.

Grenades & flashbangs are less effective in this game. Seems stupid to throw a flashbang into a room, see the hit marker, go into the room and die.....then watch the killcam and see the guy barely get blinded by it.

Yeah flashbangs seem to hurt the tosser then enemy, even if I am out of the room, I get more residual from it, then the person next to it.

The tube for me has two good uses. Marking at a distance, unless already damaged. And using as a slug round up close.

Scar is my fav so far. And the 1st shotgun, just unlocked the auto though.

I'm sorry, but the Barret is broken. I got shot in the KNEE and was one-shot. I realise this realistically represents what a .50 cal would do, but that just means it should have been excluded from the game -OR- toned down for balance -OR- disallowed from acog use.
