So the scout suggests starting them at CB, which is exactly what KC did with all of them, and they are wrong for doing it that way? Are you saying that scout is wrong too?

There are enough things about the Chiefs to bitch about without inventing rants.

Bartee was a bust
Woods was a solid safety in his younger days (pre-injury)
Warfield was average, but he was also a 7th round pick, What did you expect?
Battle has been buried behing Vermeil's loyalty to vets, we can't exactly judge him yet.

Every team in the league drafts guys that are CB/S tweeners, and like all draft picks, some of them never pan out. KC isn't doing anything out of the ordinary.

If you want to piss and moan about something, at least pick something legit. Bitch about our ridiculous inability to scout D-linemen.

Bravo! Woods was indeed a helluva player for quite some time. Warfield far exceeded expectations for a 7th round pick. Bartee does indeed carry the true bust label, and Battle has yet to have a true opportunity, so who knows?

Right on with the D-Line comment. I hope that Krumrie has an eye for talent. Guy's gotta hope for something right?

While Tongue didn't exactly become an all-pro, I felt at the time, and still believe, that the Chiefs would've been better off keeping him over Woods.

Woods was a serviceable safety for a long time, but he wasn't the impact player that we could have expected from a 1st-round safety. I've got nothing against the guy, but he essentially was an unspectacular but workable safety. I wanted more.

No doubt, I remember when they let Reggie go, I thought "what a big mistake". I guess they though they would just plug someone in back there with Jerome and he'd be just fine.
