Hmmm..probably not. Hes never developed a young QB, and hes never really won alot of games. Their Super Bowl year they just got hot at the right time.

Of those guys, I'd like Turner. He's got experience coaching up QB's (Aikman, Rivers) and I like his vertical take on offense.

I question whether Geno Smith would fit his offense either.

seems to me that Whisenhunt likes the quick, timing passing game.

I would think that Geno would fit best in an offense that takes advantage of his superior deep passing.

I disagree here. If I'm Hunt, firing Pioli now (actually weeks ago) would give me a chance to observe the operation of the FO and the interim GM. I know it's very unlikely that we do have a diamond in the rough future GM in our own office, but it would make me look stupid if I (Clark) missed out on him, in case there is. How that potential candidate handle the adversity the rest of the season will be a great exploratory tool for Clark.

I would take him as an OC in a heartbeat but i still think he will get another shot as a Head Coach. He will probably want to do both (HC/OC) again. He is another guy that ignores the run a lot.

I don't like the dual roles much

Don't want my HC to have player personnel or be a coordinator.

This! Turner as an OC would finally be a breath of fresh air! If not Turner then I would prefer that we go young with the HC and allow him to bring in his own college coordinator. Our team needs life!

Every single position in our front office is manned by people HAND-PICKED by Pioli based on personal relationships rather then MERIT.

There is ZERO reason to evaluate any of them. They all need to be fired with Pioli.

This isn't entirely true, there are holdovers like Ray Farmer.

But yeah, anyone Pioli brought in needs axe.

Ray Farmer is highly respected as well but it sounds like no one wants to hire him away because they fear he is sorta toxic right now working under this Chiefs front office led by Pioli.

Ray Farmer had been with the Chiefs since 2006, most notably as the Director of Pro Personnel.

During that time, the Chiefs have compiled an impressive 38-71 record.

I'm surprised nobody wants to hire him away.
