Intresting Fact on ESPN
With all of the Favremaina stuff, ESPN had a stat that only 4 QBs have started games in their 40's.

And guess which team has had two of them. Chiefs.

Len Dawson and Warren Moon.

I don't think Blanda started any games after forty, I think if he did QB after 40 it was as an emergency replacement. I am well into my forties and am very happy to see Favre still out there. Go Farve unless he sees the Chargers in the Super Bowl, after which he will be shown the benefits of an early retirement.

Vince Evans for the Raiders was in his 40's.

I think that was his name. I know he was around for a long time as backup qb for them and started some games when Hostetler got injured.

Here is another 4 QB's who started after 40. ESPN's fact checking department took a snooze on this one.

Deberg started one game for the Falcons in 98. He was 44.

Vince Evans was 40 when he started 3 games for the Raiders.

Doug Flutie was 42 when he started 1 game for the Chargers. He started 5 the year before.

Brad Johnson was 40 when he started 3 games for the Cowboys.

I'm watching the piece on ESPN they said 12 guys have started at 40 or over just 4 of the ones they mentioned by name 2 were Moon and Dawson.
