Well considering there is a ton of Cardinal/Chiefs fans in the state of Missouri you are wishing death upon a lot of Chief fans.

Never really understood the Royals fans hate for all things St. Louis. We beat them when it count, but they went on to incredible sustained success.

I'm glad we took 3 of 4 from them, especially going against Wainwright and Wacha, but let's not kid ourselves - they're having a down year. I'll start "hating" them when our program resembles their program, and these games mean something.

Not trying to shart in the middle of the hot tub celebration or anything, just pointing that out.

My hate started in college in Warrensburg in the early 80's.I actually grew up with 2 Grandfathers that loved the Cards and I didn't mind them until I got to college and 90% of my fraternity brothers were from there and rode the Royals asses and mine non-stop,calling us that little minor league team up there yadda yadda. It got so bad I finally said **** you and your damn redbirds and never looked back.My only regret was not being in school in '85.

Its amazing that the majority of our Cardinal hate comes from college days.

Ding Ding Ding. Going to SMS it was 80% Cards country. They didn't show the Royals games on TV and had 1 am station that carried them with a weak signal. When you get bagged on by Cards fans non stop, it makes you look at them badly. And I have alot of buddies that live over there now and its just fun to shit talk with them

I have a lot of respect for the Royals. In fact when they are not playing the Cards I actually root for them to win. But what is so hard to understand when you have a sports franchise that started in 1882 as the Cards you are gonna have a very deep dedicated fan base passed down through generations?

That is what I can't stand about Cardinals fans or fans any other team that wins consistently. They are actually delusional enough to think they have something to do with the teams success. This delusion develops into an arrogance that is amusing because most of them are probably barely coordinated enough to clap for their team let alone swing a bat.

They are delusional and foolishly arrogant but it could be worse. They could be a sick and twisted Royals fan who willingly submits themselves to misery year after year.

Oh for the love of god.
You Cardinal fans really are spoiled. I will enjoy the victories that come from the Royals whenever I want. Because if there's anything I have learned in my few years as a Royals fan is to enjoy a damn win. If Royals fans invaded Busch Stadium every year and covered the place in blue you'd, over time, become fed up with them too. It's nice to beat a team that gets just as much fans to your park as you do when they come to town. So sorry for getting excited over a series win over a team who, since I have started watching, routinely kicks our ass.

As frustrating as this team is to watch sometimes, I am going to enjoy wins like tonight.

Go Royals.
