Favorite TV Sitcom: Offer Your Nominations for the Tournament.

We're going to have a tournament to determine Chiefsplanet's favorite situation comedy (hereafter referred to as 'sitcom'). Please offer nominations for your all-time favorites.

For those who don't know what a TV sitcom is, wikipedia describes it as "a genre of comedy that features characters sharing the same common environment, such as a home or workplace, accompanied with jokes as part of the dialogue".

You do not need to specify whether or not the show was filmed in front of a live studio audience.

Final list of nominees. If you see any great shows that are missing, kiss my grits.

As long as it's a comedy let's go with any length. It just has to be an ongoing series.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

How I met Your Mother is pretty much killing it; I dunno how they come up with good stuff on a consistent basis.

Yesterday I watched two episodes of Wings and Cheers... I wasn't particularly enthralled by either but didnt make an effort to change the channel either.

However, as much as it doesn't make sense I like watching Frasier while I was a little kid.. Somehow I got the high brow culture jokes, or at least found the situations humorous.

Definitely Always Sunny and I'd posit The League should make the voting.
