DOA...
“Deep Impact” made the mistake of taking a serious approach to an absurd plot. Silly plot + inappropriate gravitas = embarrassing flick. “Armageddon” was a lot more fun. xoxo~ Gaz Way too married to even THINK about Tea Leoni. |

Tea Leoni looked good in that Family Man movie with Nick Cage.

The premise of Deep Impact wasn't that far fetched. Yeah it was stupid, but it looked like Skakespeare compared to the dog turd that is Armageddon. |

Well, because it's a good movie, to be honest. But the fact that she's topless in it certainly doesn't make it worse. Deep Impact sounds familiar, what is it about?

Any movie that can even be compared to Armageddon has got to suck.

Where is the "Crappy movie, but not the steaming dung pile that Armageddon was" option?
That would get my vote. |

Like Gaz always says, you gotta turn off your brain. Once I did that, it was an OK movie. I thought Armageddon was OK, too. Neither were real good by any means. But they weren't bad, either.

I am a big fan of the "End of the World" genre.
I thought the movie was o.k, but the romantic angle with that Chick being portrayed as the goddess of the after asteroid mankind kind of sucked. |
