The lesson to the Chiefs is Andy Reid needs to make sure and have his private convos with potential FA's in person instead of texting, where there's a record of it.

So feel free to cheat away, just don't leave an evidence trail . . . .
I like to live in a world that doesn't view every personal interaction as possible tampering. If you view everything as if it has an alterior motive, you're going to be miserable.

Question...

When the coaches from one team (say the Cowboys and Chiefs) from this past year coach the pro bowl squads, are they not in a situation of possibly tampering with players under contract from other teams?

Has anyone ever gone back to look at the FA signings or trades made the following year by coaches in those situations?

If not, why not? If a friggin picture at an event like the one being discussed here has so many of you in a tizzy... what are your concerns about the pro bowl coaching staffs?

Just curious...

I don't give a shit if Andy Reid, John Elway, or anyone else uses their good ol' boy network to get things done. It's been that way forever. End of the day you aren't getting a guy to come there that didn't want to come there.

And, for those of you wondering why March 20th is so special...

It was 5 years ago today that the Broncos tampered their way into signing Peyton Manning.

Maybe some of you didn't catch this one... granted, it's coming from Joe Thomas' agent, but is he throwing out signals via an interview?

http://www.milehighreport.com/2017/3...thomas-broncos

From 2 days ago...

On Thursday’s The Afternoon Drive, Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro talked with a guy who could have some pull - Thomas’ agent Peter Schaffer, who also represents C.J. Anderson and Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon. Both Goodman and Shapiro gave Schaffer a little prodding to get his client to come to Denver and solve the left tackle problem.

“I’m doing my best,” Schaffer said wearily. “Joe’s such a good person that he’s never gonna complain about being on the Browns. He’s an incredibly optimistic guy. As they rebuild the team, he gets more and more excited about the direction that team’s going.”

This is the point in the interview Broncos Country’s ears perked up and a tinge of excitement appeared.

“He did me tell me though, that if there’s any place he’d like to be, he does love the Rocky Mountains,” Schaffer said

(cue the conspiracy theories)

Is this what Woody Paige referred to a week ago when he tweeted "Pull the trigger, John"?

Joe wants to be a Bronco. This way he can win a Lombardi and enter the HoF on top.

He'll have a better chance by staying where he's at.

Nope. You see kids, Cleveland is a lot like KC in that they never win playoff games. You gotta win in the post season to hoist the Lombardi.
