It was a nice win... but, it is what it is ... a bad defense. I was more impressed with how Denver's defense played, that's what I was excited to see. Manning should have been expected to have fun...

Peyton is a great regular season QB.

He's absolute shit in the post-season.

In time, you'll learn to temper your enthusiasm a bit... it is almost the halfway mark. Things look good. I want to see them win the games they're supposed to win during this next stretch of 6. Once I see them do that consistently with the defense continuing to improve... then and only then, will I allow myself to start thinking about great things in the playoffs and all the stuff you typed.

Next 9 games... 5 on the road.

@Bengals - tough offense, avg defense
@Panthers - playing like puke
Chargers - playing like puke
@Chiefs - playing like puke
Bucs - tough offense, avg defense
@Raiders - mixed bag
@Ravens - should be a tough road game, projecting loss
Browns - helter skelter team, Den should win
Chiefs - playing like puke

I think I can see 6 wins out of the 9, they may not sweep KC, but I think they can win 6 and hit 10 wins at this point, possibly 11. I think there are 2-3 games here that could give Denver problems, but we'll see.

Denver's big challenge won't be the remaining schedule... it's the team(s) they might face should they advance. At this point, they should win the division, but they need to go out and win 7 of these remaining 9 if they're really going to convince me they're ready to do something major in the playoffs.

Denver has a good enough roster to get to the playoffs without Manning. Not with Osweiller but with a game manager type QB like Orton or Matt Moore. We wouldn't be going anywhere in the playoffs though, Manning is what takes us from being a playoff team to a contending team.

I can see Denver winning the rest of their games and having a first round bye. Denver is better than every team left on their schedule. We don't have to play perfect to beat average to good teams anymore.
