Thanks man. We are really happy how they turned out. Contractors put them down in November and didn't cover them at all when they were done installing (mind you, we weren't supposed to be in the house until January). They were a wreck. Thanks to my wife's hard work, and my dad and I staining the hell out of them, they came out well.

Love the ebony floors, open concept and minimalistic colors. Don't really care for the side-by-side oven and dishwasher. Let me know how that works out for you, please. I'm genuinely interested to learn if it is convenient, a PITA, or a non-issue. I've always been taught to put at least a cabinet between them. I'd have put it just to the right of your sink in this layout.

She's going to love that double oven. We've had one for about 8 years. Don't really bake frequently so our bottom unit gets very little use. But that top part is crazy convenient and pre-heats in a snap.

Can't wait to use it finally. It'll be great for when she has a ton of cakes to make and the whole kitchen isn't tied up.
