Geno Smith - John Elway? Does that seem about right?
Why use a ludacris one when Aaron Rodgers is a valid comparison?...as is Donovan McNabb.

To make fun of his ridiculous comparison of Luke Joeckel to a complete freak of nature in Ogden.

I love how you just look at a stat sheet from 5 years ago and think you know ****ing shit about Matt Ryan as a college player.

Please just stop posting opinions about college football. If you can't get the info off PFF, then you're opinions are pretty much trash about football.

Geno also played in one of the most QB friendly systems in all of college football. Comparing the 2 by looking at a stat sheet is a load.

He also played in a pro style sophomore year and threw 7. So that argument is partially flawed

You sure are on the offensive lately, and being a COMPLETE PRICK.

Matt Ryan played in a pro-style offense. It's common knowledge, even if you didn't watch him play.

A lot of guys have played in the Air Raid offense. Not many of them put up the kind of numbers Geno did.

Comparing just stats is always stupid IMO.

It was the schemes fault that Matt Ryan threw 19 picks as a senior and only 31 tds.

Matt Barkley played in a pro style offense and gets clowned for throwing 15...and he threw 36 tds.

Somehow, Barkley isn't even a first rounder, though.

Right.

None of them made as many NFL style throws or showed as developed pocket presence as Geno did. That is the selling point for me. Those who try to riduclue the AR and think it is just a college system aren't up to date on how NFL teams are passing the ball. NE, GB, NO, Denver, Atlanta, Reid, Detroit, all use base AR principles in their play designs in both base and varied personnel. For example, plenty of teams I mentioned run "Mesh" and AR staple out of both base and other personnel. The Pats additionally, love to use the hitch/seam concept with is an airraid staple as well. The AirRaid isn't a gimmick and plenty of teams are using its concepts in the NFL. FFS, I made a huge post about the ****ing levels concept with Geno earlier. Am I really going to have to ****ing bump that?
