Flooding!

Serious flooding in the Chicago area today. Rivers flooded, several interstates flooded, streets flooded everywhere, schools closed. I can't get to work because I can't get to the train platform (tunnel under the tracks flooded, roads to the other side flooded, fence blocks the tracks on the top). Worst I've seen it in years. And it's still raining like hell.

Nah.

I've been told from TV that algae can replace corn as a biodiesel alternative.

I'm sure it's going to change the world by the time I wake up tomorrow...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Shot of a parking lot near my house, hours after the rain stopped. The water still looks to be close to knee deep in spots. I've never seen standing water in it before. Some side streets still impassable - they just removed the last stranded vehicle from a street behind this store. Still looked to be waist deep.

Is that on Route 59 right near North Aurora road? It looks familiar. I used to live about a mile from there.
