Avatar origins

To go along with Flybone's username origin thread, there are certainly a handful of avatars around here that I've often asked about. Baby Lee's avy was the most confusing thing ever for the longest time until I finally asked him about it. Iconic is another one in which I've never gotten a response. Why does Mr. Flopnuts have Mike Holmgren in a chiefs shirt saying "ohhh yeah" as his avatar? All relevant questions that can be answered in this thread!

To start off, my avatar comes from the character "Bufkin", who was made famous in "The Wizard of Oz" starring Audrey Hepburn. He was then reprised as a fable character in the video game "The Wolf Among Us".

lol are you kidding... Inland Empire was a trainwreck. If anything Blue Velvet is his most accessible but Eraserhead is his most perfect and simplistic film to date.

Frazier had the power and stamina, and actually had real boxing skills, which allowed him to compete with Muhammed Ali in his near prime.

Tyson was just a puncher, who got exposed by a sorry Buster Douglas.

Anyone can get ko'd. I think Frazier would win but Tyson could land that shot on anyone

I think in the end Frazier takes it but not without some ear damage.

Tyson never went against guys the calibre of Ali, Foreman or Frazier in their primes.

I don't think he could win against the guy that held the Heavyweight title after those guys aged.

You're just pissed that I trolled you via PM.

He sent me this lulzy PM about how he accidentally + repped me and then added some irrelevant shit about why he doesn't like me, so I responded with a huge quote from the movie "Rudy". He responds with something along the lines of "d00d what are you talking about ur soooo stupid!" and I was rolling on the floor.

There are two posters on this site I can't stand. You and Prison Bitch. For completely different reasons. I may have started out a troll and yeah I still troll because it amuses me, but all in all I try to get along with everybody. Jason, I'll be by the shop soon buddy.

Or Earnie Shavers, Ken Norton, Ron Lyle, Chuck Wepner, Oscar Bonavena, Jerry Quarry just to name a few. Hell Larry Holmes Ali's sparring partner used up the division for several years after that group aged. Norton would have been the champion in any other era as could a couple of others. Tyson never sniffed that level of competition. The 70' was the pinnacle of the heavyweight division. Tyson got beat by a light heavyweight for ****ssake. Call Evander what you will but he was nothing more than an overrated light heavyweight~

You're 5 feet nothin', a 100 and nothin', and you got hardly a speck of athletic ability. And you hung in with the best college football team in the land for two years. And you're also gonna walk outta here with a degree from the University of Notre Dame. In this lifetime, you don't have to prove nothin' to nobody - except yourself. And after what you've gone through, if you haven't done that by now, it ain't gonna never happen. Now go on back...

Hell, I've seen too many games in this stadium...I've never seen a game from the stands...I rode the bench for two years. Thought I wasn't bein' played because of my color. I got filled up with a lotta attitude. So I quit. Still not a week goes by I don't regret it. And I guarantee a week won't go by in your life you won't regret walkin' out, letting them get the best of ya. You hear me clear enough?
I have no idea what your point is. Once again you charge in making assertions without having any credible information. Talking out of your ass seems to be your MO. There seems to be a feeble effort to offer advice in that babble yet it is random and is not applicable to me or the situation. The “swing and a miss” comment in the Stewart thread was a desperate attempt to score some sort of point. Unfortunately it looked pretty foolish as pointed out by another poster. Anyway Dave asked me to bow out of your thread explaining he was looking forward to discussing the subject in depth with you. I have lost interest in engaging in any discussion with you as it seems to render diminishing results.
Have a nice day~
