Today's Career Choices

Say you are fresh out of high school and not sure what direction to go. You're smart enough for college but not sure you want to go that route and/or the expense.

You have good hands but don't really see a career as a blue collar guy but are open to it.

The world is your oyster and you are ready to eat it. So many directions. What looks good? Do you choose a career that needs hands on and cannot be outsourced to India? Or do you get that cushy desk job?

For those of us that are at the end of our careers, we have seen many other choices that may have been a better choice. What ones would you have considered afterthefact?

Check out schools like uvu.edu or Kstate, Okie light, OU and others. They have career path programs in place to get you to a regional then to a major.
I've got about 50 hours of flight time and originally wanted to pursue this as a career but have some somewhat series health problems that run in the family. I had nightmares about losing my medical with nothing to fall back on. Decided to go the management route through MSU Denver and fly on the side for fun.
