I'm excited also. But the whole "He's already better than Daniel and Smith!!" thing is ridiculous.

Like I said earlier in the thread, if we want him to succeed, we have have to hope he gets nowhere near the field for atleast a year or two.

And people wonder why I avoid these threads. It's like trying to have logical discussions with a bunch of sugar-tripping toddlers with Tourette's.

I think he can out perform Daniel today. He has more physical tools than Alex, but will need time to mature and learn to read defenses. He won't be the #1 QB unless there is an injury. It would have to be a repeat of the Noles situation from last year.

Its half and half, some truth and some parody like Dustin "The MVP" Colquitt. The Geno supporters took their stance too seriously for example.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I know a lot of people like him, I do as well, as an UDFA. The OMG BEST QB IN CAMP stuff is more of a parody of 2012 Stanzi than the Geno thing, imo.

Agreed. I think the correct statement people should be making is "he will be better than Smith and Daniel"

Some of us knew Bray was one of the most talented QB's in the draft but he was not ready to start out of the gate which caused everyone to overlook him for Geno Smith, etc.

The fact we got him without wasting a draft pick is going to prove to be the biggest theft in the history of the NFL Draft since Tom Brady.......just watch

Stanzi was a definite ribbing, but when the Geno stuff went overboard ( support him or ****off) that's when it was included in the joke also.
