in Comanche County, Oklahoma - I was wearing a Kansas City Chiefs shirt Saturday morning, picking up my packet for a cycling event

[middle-aged] Woman: “Alright, Chiefs! I’m from Missouri.”

Me: ”Oh, cool. I was born in Kansas but my family moved to Oklahoma when I was young.”

Woman: “You’re from Kansas and you support the Chiefs?”

Me: (with the look of a confused dog) “Is that strange?”

Woman: “Uhh, Just wouldn’t have expected it.”

Me (to myself): what the actual ****?

I'd tell her that Oklahoma is living proof that Texans ****ed Utes...and then I'd reference the Oklahoman sired progeny as proof.
