Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

i was going to do USPSA this year; but can't with ammo prices as they are.

maybe not 'compete' etc, but localized matches/meet-ups etc.

Believe me, if I wasn't reloading I wouldn't even be considering it.

I've shot both. USPSA > IDPA. I would urge you to do both. There is no reason you can't shoot Production and SSP/ESP with the same gear. Also...dont buy that gear until youve been a few times.

It will vary club to club, but in my opinion, the better shooters are in USPSA.

Also, most every USPSA club I know of has a practice night. Try to go there first if you can.

Just got back from there. had some .223 rounds to pick up from an online order. Didn't see any of the 5.56. Still a shit load of the .223. And I got one of the last four boxes of the Fiocchi .40 (the other three were going the same time I picked mine up). They had another brand, PMC maybe, for $22.98 that still a little bit of stock left.

I posted some pics on here of my gear, and promptly took them off.
