Sat. May 23rd - The Fighting Sullivans on TCM
If there are any WWII buffs, you've probably heard about the Five Sullivan brothers from my hometown of Waterloo, IA. They were mentioned in the Ken Burns' PBS series - The War, although it got the location wrong.
Anyway, the 1944 movie about the brothers, The Fighting Sullivans, is on Turner Classic Movies this Saturday at 11:15pm if you're interested. I haven't seen it before, but I'll hopefully watch it now that I have the chance. It's part of their Memorial Day weekend lineup. So if you like war movies, check out TCM this weekend. |
