Season opener is starting in mere minutes.

The lineup today indicates that Vermes cares much more about the CCL game against Cruz Azul than he does this league game. I still expect Sporting to come out of Seattle with points though, because this roster is deep and this team is boss.

SKC has looked like the stronger side so far. Scoreless, but a few excellent defensive plays by Sounders' keeper (Frei) & CB (Traore) have prevented goals.
